Equipment room: lithium batteries and hybrid inverter
Three SRNE lithium batteries, a DC busbar box and a hybrid inverter, wired in a heated room.

Storage is the most expensive part of an off-grid system and the most sensitive to cold. The batteries are installed in a heated room inside the building, with the DC busbar box above them and the hybrid inverter on the adjacent wall.
Wiring runs in conduit, labelled and grouped through to the distribution panel. A tidy equipment room is not vanity: it is what makes a repair possible in ten years, by somebody else.
