Steel pole ground mount
Eight modules on a two-pole structure anchored in the ground, facing due south and clear of shade.

A ground mount is the answer when the roof faces the wrong way, sits in shade or is simply too small. The structure rests on steel poles set in concrete below the frost line, so it is unaffected by ground movement from one season to the next.
The tilt is set for a Québec winter: steep enough for snow to slide off on its own, and at standing height so maintenance and snow clearing need no ladder.
